Mrs Tabitha, a first-crop daughter of Jack Hobbs, made her maiden voyage to the racecourse a successful one when running home the four-length winner of the Junior NH Bumper at Bangor on Saturday.
Bred by Johnny Weatherby at Preston Lodge Stud, the four-year-old has a smart pedigree, being a half-sister to the Grade 1-winning chaser Presenting Percy. Their dam Hunca Munca (Presenting) won two point-to-points and is herself a half-sister to the G1 Punchestown Novice Chase runner-up Western Charmer.
Trained by the Cheltenham Festival-winning duo of Oliver Greenall and Josh Guerriero, Mrs Tabitha looks a smart prospect, and becomes the first bumper winner for Jack Hobbs, who has also already been represented by winner on the Flat and between the flags in Ireland.
