Asian Daze, a three-year-old daughter of Frontiersman, landed the third victory of her career on her three-year-old debut, winning easily at the Curragh off a mark of 85.
Trained by Johnny Murtagh, the filly won twice at two and looked highly progressive on her comeback on a good card, winning by three and a half lengths in the soft conditions after posting two wins on good ground last summer.
“She is so genuine,” said Murtagh. “I don’t think ground matters to her. She has a big heart and that was always going to be to her advantage on this sort of ground.”
Bred by Phelim Dolan, Asian Daze is out of the Danehill Dancer mare Heartasia and is one of three winners on the Flat for her sire from just five runners to date.
