On the eve of the Cheltenham Festival, Golden Horn and Jack Hobbs look set to represented by multiple Grade 1 winners over the next four days.
East India Dock is currently vying for favouritism in Friday’s JCB Triumph Hurdle, in which Golden Horn could have three runners. His breakthrough Cheltenham Festival winner of last year, Golden Ace, has been declared for Tuesday’s Champion Hurdle after winning the G2 Kingwell Hurdle on her most recent outing.
Intense Approach, a winner at Cheltenham in October and again at Musselburgh on his last start, is one of the trio to be representing Jack Hobbs.
And don’t bet against the late Kayf Tara adding to his fine record at the Cheltenham Festival, with his son The New Lion being a Festival banker for plenty of shrewd judges.
