A ‘powerfully-made, good-moving’ foal out of the Royal Applause mare Royal Ffanci is yet another from the first crop of record-breaking miler Cityscape to earn the plaudits of breeders.
Born at Conduit Stud, the bay filly is described by Christopher Sweeting as ‘a tremendous foal: short-backed, deep shouldered with plenty of bone and an impressive stride. You’d never guess she was a first foal. She’s ravishing!’ Cityscape, who was rated the third best miler in Europe after only Frankel and Excelebration, is standing his second season at stud at £4,500 Oct 1, SLF. His half-brother Bated Breath also made a splash with his first foals in 2014.
