Eminent owner-breeder Peter Onslow says of his Cityscape filly ‘she is an exceptional specimen who is difficult to fault and looks as nice a foal as anything we have produced’.
Group 1 breeder Onslow bred two mares to Cityscape in 2014 and is delighted he did. ‘The Cityscape foals are two of the easiest-moving foals we have bred, with flowing long strides,’ he says. ‘They have great energy and attutudes.’
Onslow, who breeds his horses at Sanfield Stud, Lancashire, describes his colt out of the 87-rated juvenile Hollowina as, ‘Very correct, good-boned, an all-round good sort, and exceptional for a first foal.’ The colt is a third-generation homebred, descending from Onslow’s G1-performing Princess Royal Stakes winner, Trick Or Treat.
He is even more thrilled with his Cityscape filly, the second foal of Real Me, a Mark Of Esteem half-sister to the G3-winning two-year-old Camargo. ‘I’m totally smitten!’ Onslow is sending two more mares to Cityscape in 2015, one by Green Desert, the other a daughter of Royal Applause.
