Kayf Tara’s outstanding son Thistlecrack, so impressive when turning the G1 World Hurdle into a procession of honour, has been afforded a rating of 178 by the Racing Post, 2lbs ahead of the leading two-miler Faugheen. Timeform also give him a ‘p’ after his name, meaning he has the potential to make more-than-usual improvement.
The eight-year-old has won all four of his starts and £287,598 this season, making him the season’s second highest earner, after only Don Cossack.
